Our next SIG is Monday June May 13th - 10.30 to 1pm (max.)
Graciela will come with Ian, a teacher she met in England and is now visiting Argentina.
Topic: oops, I don't have a clue...
Last week end
Gordon - Caroline's friend - visited the city.
We met at La Biela, Analia, Silvia, Yvonne and Sylvine.
We had the opportunity to chat and plan his visit. At least, give him a map and options!!!
We went to Parroquia del Pilar and visited the cloisters. Amazing, I was the only one who had been there before. If you have the opportunity, it's a really interesting visit.
Then Analia and Silvia went on with him and walked up and down the city.
On Sunday,
Gordon and I met at Plaza the Mayo, visited the Cathedral and then Analia and family came by car.
We went to San Telmo, the new MAMBA museum, Costanera Sur, Puerto Madero, had "bondiola" sandwiches next to the Reserva Ecologica. (now I can't complain when my son eats hot dogs in the street!!)
Back to the car and went to Caminito, Parque Lezama, History Museum and to have a coffee and "tostado mixto" at the "Bar Britanico".
Gordon, now you know what a tostado mixto is !
Then drove him to Retiro Station to take the bus to Gualeguachu.
I hope he enjoyed his stay in Buenos Aires.
Next visit he will have an overview of the city and know what he wants to visit and do. [hopefully :) ]
